Welcome to the MacroTracker Project! MacroTracker is a Java Bug Tracking system based on Bugzilla. The core difference is that MacroTracker is an application bug tracking system (as opposed to web-based). Unlike Bugzilla, MacroTracker runs on all Operating Systems and all Platforms that Java supports.
For platforms that Bugzilla isn't supported, it's possible to connect to an external server. MacroTracker works with any MySQL database that is used with Bugzilla, and is easy to connect to.
One of the key goals of MacroTracker is making it easy for small projects and companies who do not have the resources for a server be able to get advanced bug-tracking capabilities. MacroTracker is accessible to everybody and even includes special user permission features.

More MySQL work has been done. We should be real close to a SQL beta.
